It's worth noting that when I loaded CFG and the Homebrew Channel, my Wii pointer on screen was extremely laggy.Īny ideas on what I can do to fix this? I hope that posting the stack errors in the spoilers will provide some information. After a few seconds, Homebrew Channel loaded but then immediately brought up a new stack dump error and ISI Exception (see below). I tried using a different SD card freshly formatted it still didn't work.Īs a test to see if the problem was from the SD card, I took the SD card out of the Wii's slot and tried to launch Homebrew Channel. I was still met with the stack error as soon as I clicked on the game. I thought my SD card was corrupted so I backed it up and reformatted it. One day, I booted up CFG USB Loader via the forwarder to play a game and I was met with the stack dump error and DSI Exception in the spoiler when trying to launch it. I think my Wii is corrupted somehow and I don't know why. IOS252 (rev 21010, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.Edit: Solution. If anyone could help me, I really appreciate it I even tried to transfer save game data to the SD Card and it worked, so I don't think the SD card slot is faulty. My Wii is working, I can play games normally, but I can't open homebrew apps. The same "Exception (DSI) occurred" message appeared. Then, I tried to put the files into a USB flash drive. I pressed 1 and tried to click in SD Card to load the files, but "Exception (DSI) occurred" message appeared (it happened with all three SD Cards) I tried all three SD Cards without success (all of them worked in my other Wiis). I installed the homebrew channel using this method, and when it opened, no apps appeared. There are more questions than answers at this point. This is the 3rd wii I have modded and the only one to give me issues. When the exploit of str2hax loaded, it was written on the screen that no SD Card was found, even with my SD Card inserted. After the black screen the only option has been to format and re add the games to my flash drive as nothing will ever load again after that happens. It was said that, if the SD Card inserted has a boot.elf or boot.dol file in its root, the exploit of str2hax will boot this file from SD Card. I used the str2hax method to install Homebrew Channel and it worked. Well, I read a lot of other questions like mine and never found a solution. If I click in SD Card icon after it turns blue, the SD Card page opens up like it's working normally. If I click in SD Card icon while it's still grey, the SD Card page opens up, keeps loading SD Card and appears a message "The device inserted in the SD Card slot cannot be used" When I insert the SD Card on Wii, the SD Card icon keeps gray for 5 seconds and then turns blue. I tried with two other SD cards, one 1GB and other 4GB, and still the letter bomb doesn't show up. SD Card is in FAT32 (I formatted it again just to make sure) I tried to load the exploit using the letter bomb method, but the letter bomb never appeared. My SD Card is a 16gb SD card formatted in FAT32 I downloaded the letterbomb from the official website, put the correct MAC address, the correct 4.3U version and the option "Bundle the Hackmii installer for me" was checked. My Wii is a 4.3U white Wii, with GC retrocompatibility. I was softmodding one of my Wiis and I came up with a problem.
